Indian Mysore Nuggets Extra Bold : This is the highest grade of Indian wet-processed Arabica coffee, with very large beans and a virtual absence of defects. Mysore coffees are the best known and the most popular of all Indian coffees, they possess good body and brightness. Very sweet aroma with tangerine and chocolate mid tones and balancing cedar bottom notes. Beautiful in the cup with sweetness and a gentle tarty acidity. The fruit notes are cleanly wine-like. Due to the very limited availability this coffee is ONLY available in our retail store and is not for wholesale distribution. Tanzania PeaBerry : This lot consists entirely of peaberries, a kind of bean that results when the coffee fruit develops only a single, oval bean rather than the usual pair of flat-sided beans. Specialty coffee traditionally associates peaberries with Tanzania. From the Mbeya region in Southwestern Tanzania this medium bodied coffee has a very smooth mouth feel with a spicy, floral top note and a slight blackberry note in both the aroma and the cup. Brazilian Yellow Bourbon : This fantastic coffee comes from the Santa Maria Estate in the Cerrado region of Minas Gerais state of Brazil.. This coffee has a lively mouthfeel, usually associated with brightly acid coffees but is distinctly sweet. The dominant aroma is milk chocolate, with a hint of ripe fruit. On tasting, the milk chocolate adds a slight note of almond, while the origin flavor resolves into overripe cherry and strawberry. The finish is sweet, and the effervescent mouthfeel lingers. This is one of only a very few coffees that I think make a good single origin espresso. Spiced Eggnog: Kick off the holiday season with the festive flavor of Spiced Eggnog coffee. Its rich, creamy flavor and irresistible nutmeg aroma make this coffee a wintertime favorite.
